Catherine Stewart

Catherine Stewart

Portsmouth, New Hampshire. //

Professionally, Catherine uses the formal four-step process to engage colleagues, collaborators, and clients in developing her documentary theatre and film. During the CRP Certification, she explored the process’s values with non-profit staff and boards experiencing leadership transition. Her facilitation has taken her to institutions, including Yale School of Drama, Harvard Ceramics, and Horizon Theatre Company, as well as into the creative practices of multidisciplinary artists. While completing her MFA in Creative Writing at Goddard College, she taught the process during workshops across literary forms and genres. Currently, she focuses on new play development in textual and devised processes. She is interested in helping literary departments rethink their feedback processes to bring a broader spectrum of playwriting to the American stage.
