Aimed at practitioners who already have strong working knowledge of CRP, the Certification program provides ten months of high-level mentoring, peer-to-peer learning, and intensive practice in the foundations, principles, and applications of Critical Response Process.

Applications for a new cohort of CRP certification are closed for 2024.

Participants study directly with master trainers in a program under direct guidance of CRP originator Liz Lerman and co-author John Borstel. Below is an outline of program information.

Duration: March 2024 – January 2025, beginning with an in-person four-day intensive March 7-10, 2024, anticipated location: Phoenix, AZ.

Applications due: October 31, 2023

Acceptance confirmations by: early December
Payment dates: $500 deposit due December 15, remainder due January 10
Pre-workshop assignment and/or survey period: begins in February
In-person Intensive dates: March 7-10, 2024 (travel: arrive by afternoon of March 7, depart late March 10)
Personal study/practice project plan completed by (approx. two weeks after intensive): March 25
Monthly online seminars and advisory group meetings at six-week intervals

Candidates’ demonstration workshops presented between October 1 and November 15, 2024

Practice project completed by: November 30, 2024
Project portfolio compilations: January 15, 2025
Certification confirmations conferred by: January 31, 2025

Cost: Tuition is $3,000, with limited partial scholarships available. Travel and housing for the initiating in-person intensive is the responsibility of each participant.

Format: Distance-learning program after completion of in-person opening intensive; Canvas Learning Management System platform access provided with additional program communications through email; high-speed internet required for all participants.
