Leah has been a book and paper maker, classroom teacher, and Teaching Artist in the interdisciplinary book arts since 1992. She taught in the Chicago Public Schools, the juvenile detention facility, and for DCFS before becoming an instructor of arts integration at Columbia College Chicago. Areas of special interest include facilitating CRP groups of multidisciplinary and intergenerational artists, addressing grief as a work in progress, and working with The Illinois Clemency Project for Battered Women. Currently she is working on an artists book of micro memoir and making Memento Mori visual art.
