Phil Stoesz is the Co-Director of the Critical Response Process Certification Program. He helped create the Fundamentals training course and regularly teaches and facilitates CRP workshops in the higher education, nonprofit, and private sectors. He trained for 10 years with Liz Lerman and John Borstel and remains a constant student of the practice through learning from his friend and colleague, Co-Director Sumana Sen Mandala. Phil has facilitated hundreds of traditional CRP critique circles as well as applied the method to various process designs at arts organizations, universities and institutions. His favorite way of teaching CRP is through making a meal for a group of people and getting feedback on how it tastes (as Phil’s other love is throwing dinner parties and gathering people as much as possible).
