Stephen Clapp (he/him) is a Filipino-American cultural strategist, choreographer, educator, and arts leader. He co-directs Dance Box Theater with his life partner Laura Schandelmeier, serves as Director of Racial Equity and Creative Producer with Dance Exchange, is a co-owner of DC Vegan, is a certified Climate Wayfinding facilitator, and is a certified Critical Response Process® practitioner. His movement-based, equity-centered work fosters creative inquiry, collective leadership, and justice-rooted community engagement across performance, organizing, strategic planning, and cross-sector collaboration.
